Seven athletes of America to the Youth World Boxing Championships 2010 finals.

Seven athletes from four countries of America will be participating in the finals of Youth World  Boxing Championships 2010 in Baku on Monday.

The country with the highest number of athletes in the finals is Cuba, four boxers: Ramirez Robeisy Carrazana (54kg) - Norlan Yera Diaz (57kg) - Irosvani Duverger (81kg) and Lenier Pero Justiz (91kg).

Brazil, Argentina and Puerto Rico are the countries, like Cuba, that had the honor to place athletes in the finals, each one with a representative. These fighters will meet on Monday with their opponents to try to achieve the gold medal.

Brazil´s David Laurencio da Costa won in the semifinals 9:8 to Radovan  Denis, for the chance at gold confronting Asian boxer Ahmad Mamadjanov.

Fabian Maidana (64kg) Argentine boxer, will face Oleg Nekliudov, Ukrainian Junior gold medalist, who won 16-0 to Samuel Zapata of Venezuela to ensure his place in the final.

Likewise, the Puerto Rican boxer Emmanuel Rodriguez will face Azerbaijan in Shahpalangov Shaban (51kg) who has the advantage of the local hero.
