Central American Boxing Championships 2010

The Central American Championship will be officially opened in San Jose, Costa Rica on May 20th 2010, with the participation of all countries of Central America: Panama Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador and the host country, Costa Rica.

Nicaragua, which has dominated Central American boxing in recent years, will try to claim the first place again, lost in the Central American Games in Panama. They said that they have a better team now.

The AMBC appointed the staff that will lead the tournament led by Luis Zelikowizc from Argentina which will be the Technical Delegate; Luiz Boselli of Brazil in charge of R/J and Dr. Rafael Ornelas of Mexico, Medical Director. In addition, three neutral judges were appointed to ensure neutrality of the competitions.

The event finals will be on May 23th and there will be competing male and female boxers.
