Central American Male and Female Boxing Championships

Central American Male and Female Boxing Championship, started yesterday Thursday 20, 2010, in the city of San José, Costa Rica.
The winning boxers of the renowned Central American region were: Marvin Solano, who beat his opponent by points, the Guatemalan Billy Cocineros 2-5. The Panamanian Cesar Rivas won against local Siviany Ramirez 13-3, and Fabian Carvajal defeated Gustavo Caicedo 11-6.

In women boxing the athletes Karen Bardu and Lourdes Perez, 64 kg, faced in the bout 4 of the night, won by the Panamanian Bardu 8-2 showing her skill in the ring.

The Central American Male and Female Boxing Championship, which will be performed at the National Gymnasium from May, Thursday 20 to Sunday 23, with the boxers participation from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and Costa Rica.

The event will continue on Friday 21 with the qualifying matches at 7 pm, on Saturday 22 will be the semifinals, also at 7 pm, and Sunday 24 all finals will start at 2 p.m.
