Boxing Tournament in The Central American and Caribbean Games, Mayagüez 2010 start

"With a total of 20 countries and 121 boxers the boxing tournament of the Central American and Caribbean Games 2010 has begun, this edition is the number XXI of these games.
This tournament is taking place in the city of Mayaguez located at the western of Puerto Rico.
Several boxers that have been medalist in different world championships are competing in this event, such as: Jose Pedraza from Puerto Rico, runner-up of Milan World Championships 2009.
Other boxers are Oscar Valdez from Mexico champion of the Junior World Championships 2008 and the bronze medalist in Milan World championship; Jonathan Gonzalez champion of the Junior World Championship 2008; and Luis Miguel Diaz from Dominican Republic bronze medalist in the Junior world championship 2008 and runner up of AIBA President Cup 2009.
The final competitions will be taking place from July 30th to 31 at the Rafael Angel Mangual Coliseum, Puerto Rico University´s.
The tournament is supervised by the American Boxing Confederation (AMBC), which assigned all officials who are leading the competition headed by Luis Zelicokowicz from Argentina as Technical Official. "
